  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

Prepare Your Jar

  • Find a clean glass jar with a tight lid. Make sure it is dry inside before you start.

Pour the Liquids

  • Add the olive oil into the jar first. Then pour in the red wine vinegar. Watch them separate into beautiful layers.

Add the Dry Herbs

  • Put in the oregano, basil, and thyme. Add the garlic powder and red pepper flakes too. Do not forget the salt and pepper.

Shake It Up

  • Put the lid on the jar very tightly. Shake the jar for thirty seconds. The oil and vinegar should look well mixed.

Let the Flavors Sit

  • Let the dressing sit for ten minutes. This helps the dried herbs soften in the oil. It makes the taste much stronger.

Pour and Enjoy

  • Drizzle the oil over your hoagie or sub. You can also use it on a fresh salad. Enjoy your delicious meal.
