  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

Prepare the Vegetables

  • First, wash your fresh parsley. Dry it well with a towel. Chop the parsley into tiny bits. Next, take your dill pickles. Cut them into very small cubes. Slice the white onion very thin. Then, dice the onion into small pieces. All pieces should be the same size. This makes the texture very even.

Mix the Base

  • Get your clean mixing bowl. Scoop the mayonnaise into the bowl. Add the fresh lemon juice now. Pour in the Worcestershire sauce too. Use your spoon to stir these. The mixture should look very smooth. Make sure there are no lumps. This is the heart of the sauce.

Add the Flavor Bits

  • Put the chopped pickles in the bowl. Add the diced onions next. Throw in the salty capers now. Add the green parsley bits too. Stir everything together very slowly. Make sure the mayo coats every piece. The sauce will look very colorful now. It will start to smell great.

Season the Sauce

  • Now you add the dry items. Sprinkle in the white sugar. Add a pinch of salt. Put in the black pepper too. Stir the sauce one more time. Taste a little bit with a spoon. Does it need more salt? You can add more if you want.

Chill and Serve

  • Put the sauce in a jar. Put the lid on the jar. Place it in the fridge. Let it sit for one hour. This helps the flavors mix well. The sauce will taste much better cold. Serve it with your favorite fish. Enjoy your tasty homemade meal.
