Ingredients

  • 1 cup Kodiak Power Cakes Mix
  • 3/4 cup Milk or water
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 tbsp Oil or butter
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions

Heat the Iron

  • Plug your waffle iron into the wall. Let it get very hot now. A hot iron makes waffles crispy.

Mix Dry Items

  • Put the Kodiak mix in a bowl. Add the cinnamon and salt now. Stir these dry items together well.

Add Wet Items

  • Pour in the milk and egg. Add the oil and vanilla extract. These items make the batter wet.

Stir it Well

  • Use your whisk to stir everything. Do not overmix the batter though. Small lumps are okay to have.

Grease the Iron

  • Spray the iron with non-stick oil. This prevents a very big mess. Be careful of the hot steam.

Pour the Batter

  • Put batter in the very center. Use a small measuring cup. Do not fill to the edge.

Cook the Waffle

  • Close the lid of the iron. Wait for the light to change. The steam will stop coming out.

Serve it Hot

  • Take the waffle out very carefully. Use a fork to lift it. Place it on a clean plate.

Add Your Toppings

  • Put syrup on the top. Add some fresh fruit too. Peanut butter is also very good.

Enjoy the Meal

  • Eat the waffles while they are warm. Share them with your whole family. They are so delicious!
